2021 Shelby Mustang GT500 

The Carbonized Grey paint on this 2021 Shelby GT500 is wearing a self-healing ULTIMATE PLUS ™ PPF clear bra. The owner wanted to protect the front end against paint damage and brought the GT500 to our XPEL install shop in Boise, TX. As a result, the Shelby Mustang’s hood, fenders, side mirrors, bumper, and front spoiler are now better preserved against wear and tear with XPEL PPF. In addition, we also treated the car’s exterior paint with a FUSION PLUS ™ ceramic coating to enhance the color depth. As a result, the paint on this GT500 shines brighter and is better protected against wear and tear.

This year, Ford has added the Carbon Fiber Handling Package to the GT500’s order sheet; the $10,000 package includes 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels, adjustable strut-top mounts, and additional aero elements. Three colors join the palette: Grabber Yellow, Antimatter Blue, and Carbonized Gray Metallic. Aptly called Predator, the motor is a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 producing a whopping 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque. That prodigious power twists the rear wheels through a clairvoyant seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Carbon Fiber Track Pack (20-inch carbon-fiber wheels, aerodynamic add-ons, stickier Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and other weight-saving measures), that package adds $18,500 to the total price tag.

ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection wrap is a transparent, durable film developed to protect surfaces against scratch marks, paint chips, and corrosion brought on by environmental contaminants. Pollutants like bird droppings and acids found in bugs. Plus, preventing paint fade from long-term exposure to UV rays. ULTIMATE PLUS ppf is virtually unnoticeable and leaves a high-gloss shine on wrapped surfaces. Our paint protection film ‘self-healing’ properties work with direct sunlight. Once exposed it can vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches.

We use pre-cut patterns to print out film in the 2020 Shelby GT350 exact measurements. We offer XPEL Paint protection wraps in a partial-front or full-front known as ‘clear bras’ or opt to wrap the entire vehicle. ULTIMATE PLUS ™ ppf can also be applied to interiors and carbon fiber wings or diffusers.

FUSION PLUS ™ ceramic coating is infused with hydrophobic properties to repel water, mud, and road grime from surfaces. One application can protect surfaces for an extended time. We offer a range of FUSION PLUS ceramic coating to protect exterior paint, interiors, glass, plastic trim, wheels, and brake calipers. The owner of this 2020 Shelby GT350 opted to coat the entire exterior in FUSION PLUS. XPEL’s ceramic coating makes surfaces easier to clean and performs to increase the depth of paint color. As a result, surfaces shine brighter and offer a rich premium gloss.
